“In 2013 I lost a partner unexpectedly. This set me on my journey of Healing, and I met a lady called Lorraine Web who was the founder of the Adelaide Healing Centre. While working with Lorraine on “Healing the inner child” workshop, and receiving Reiki, I felt significant shifts in my body’s energy and I started to heal, not only from the recent trauma but from, let’s say, my “eventful and interesting life”. I also achieved my energy Healers certificate. I started up cleaning people’s houses for cash as a way to support myself and my 2 boys and had a full roster Monday to Friday, 6 hours a day between school runs.

During the next 5 years I completed my Certificate 4 in Community Services and My diploma in counselling with these 2 legends: Jan Sansom, a qualified counsellor & psychotherapist with specialties in eating disorders, counselling, therapy, or tarot readings! Tarot teacher too! Valarie Redman - Valarie is a Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Mentor, Trainer, Supervisor, Facilitator, and Executive Coach, supporting her clients to achieve healthy practices. positive changes for themselves and their organisation. This was the practical side of my healing journey – Learning CBT or Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, intrigued me and worked!

In 2016, I worked at Drug Arm in Warradale – Which was a drug and alcohol counselling and support service. There I practiced what I had learnt and completed additional training.

In 2018, I met Rosalind Sansbury,  Reiki Master and Teacher, Theta Healing Holistic coach, Divine Channeler of soul language & heart song. Through Rosalind, I gained my Reiki I, II and III teacher Training Certificates. At this point I begun developing my own business, “Forrest Therapy”.

I also studied and practiced Mediumship and Psychic work with Cheryl Rae: Clairvoyant, Medium Healer Teacher, Member of the Australian and International Psychic Association, Founder Director and tutor of Adelaide Mystery school, and 2009 Psychic of the year for South Australia.

I met this couple, Paul Elisio and Juliet Lever of Evolve and Relaunch. This was the icing on the cake, the final piece to the puzzle where I learnt “NLP” or Neuro Linguistic Programming, Timeline Therapy and Hypnotherapy. The learnings I took away with me changed my direction in life. I remember looking at Paul and Juliet and wanting what they have.

By 2019, I was working out of a small, rented room in Willunga as a Reiki Healer 2 days a week and from home in a back room 2 days a week performing Aromatouch Massage. Business was steady and my daughter was 2 so the hours and income worked. I also started practicing NLP and timeline therapy combined with CBT and had put together training and information books
